Bristol District Park is located at 1098 Thompson Rd S, near a plaza with stores and restaurants like Starbucks and Shoppers Drug Mart, as well as a Tim Hortons. There is an outstanding splash pad right next to a big park for your kids to enjoy in the hot weather. There are soccer fields and football fields in the park which are large enough for gameplay, and the fields are also lit at nighttime so they remain bright even after dark. There is an accessible parking lot right by the park so you do not need to worry about finding separate parking.
This park is usually busy during the summer and spring seasons and its peak times are 12 pm – 2 pm which could make it difficult to social distance. It would be preferred to visit the park during later times, or earlier times. The picnic benches with a shade over top are usually occupied very early, so if you are planning to host a birthday or picnic, you will need to arrive as early as possible to avoid any inconveniences. Overall, this is a well-designed park with a great playground that is well-configured and doesn’t cause congestion even when there are lots of kids there.
