Brookville is a small neighborhood in Milton’s rural area. There is no formal main street; instead, there is a stone plaque in a farm field off Guelph Line with the name Brookville carved in stylized mauve coloured lettering and a bull rush flower arrangement. Brookville is a small town with a country store, a specialized butcher shop, and an orchard. There is also a public school and a baseball pitch in the park. Brookville is surrounded by beautiful nature and is surrounded by escarpment country. There are many horse farms in this area because the vast green hills of the countryside give the ideal setting for these magnificent animals to graze and exercise.
