Coates is a family-friendly area featuring parks and pathways, as well as traffic-free streets with bike lanes. The North and South Coates Neighbourhood Parks are the district’s most prominent landmarks, providing a continuous green corridor across the heart of the neighborhood. Derry Road forms the north boundary, Louis St. Laurent Avenue forms the south boundary, Ontario Street forms the west boundary, and Thompson Road forms the east boundary.
